6 november 2011 is het weer zover, ons 3de spellentoernooi in jeugdhuis "De Faar" te Meerhout!

De inschrijvingen zijn mogelijk tot en met 3 november.
We hebben enkele extra spellen, van SPIEL Essen 2011, toegevoegd aan de ronden.
Deze spellen zullen ook deel uitmaken van onze schitterende prijzentafel.
Elke deelnemer, of hij/zij nu wint of verliest, gaat zeker naar huis met een prachtig gezelschapsspel.
Voor diegene die nog aan onze clubnaam zouden twijfelen: Eén van onze leden brouwt bier, en dat kan op ons toernooi worden genuttigd: "Ploegbaas". Volgens kenners zelfs beter dan Duvel!!!

LAST WILL (Medium ronde)
In his last will, your rich uncle stated that all his millions will go to the nephew who can enjoy money the most. How to find it out? You will each be given a large amount of money and whoever can spend it first will be the rightful heir. Visit the most exclusive theatres or eat in the most expensive restaurants. Buy old properties for the price of new ones and sell them as old ruins. Host a huge party in your mansion or on your private boat. Spend like your life would depend on it. Spend to become rich!
Last Will (Czech Games Edition, Czechia) is a new game by Vladimír Suchý. It’s for 2-5 players with a playing time of 45-75 minutes.
For Fame & Fortune (F3) (Korte ronde)
For Fame & Fortune is an addictive card-drafting game of high stakes Fortune Hunting. The objective is to collect the best Fortune Hand from several rounds of drafting. The twist is that players control the number of cards to draft, points they score, and Fortune Hands they make through a common mechanism that leads to many strategic decisions and tactical plays.
Players begin with ten cards and starts by drafting five cards. Players will then play cards or pass. Each card they play will reduce the number of cards to be drafted next, as well as be the additional stakes of the player. The cards played will also form a common pool of cards that players can use to form the best Fortune Hand. Once four cards have been played, players can either play the fifth and final card or draw and discard a card. The discarded card can be stolen by other players, so players have to be careful with discards and the ever-increasing stakes as the game progresses. Once the fifth card is played, the players will compare Fortune Hands and the winner will score points based on stakes played and a Fortune Modifier. The game ends after every player has a chance to deal, or after a pre-agreed number of rounds.
To excel in F3, you will need the cunning of a boardgame player, the opportunistic instincts of a Hold'em player, the tactical savvy of a Mahjong player, and the risk-taking skills of a Hanafuda player.
PRET-A-PORTER (Lange ronde)
Pret-a-Porter (Portal, Poland) is an economic strategy game set in a world of fashion. Players run clothes companies and fight for dominance during fashion shows.
During the game players open new branches and outlets, hire new workers and try to gain new capabilities. New Design Agencies, Brand stores or Preparation rooms are opened, Accountants, Models and Designers are hired, lucrative contracts are signed to allow for short-term profits and expand company’s competencies.
Every single month player’s company gains new capabilities.
Each quarter held fashion shows – each player has to prepare a collection of clothing and has to show it on the show. The public, media, experts estimate collections in four categories and award prizes and diplomas. The more awards (represented by ‘stars’ in the game) will be collected at the show, the more money the players earn for selling their collection!
Will you get award for best Trends? Will you manage to be best in Public Relations and get the Media award? Will you earn more ‘stars’ than your opponent?
Pret-a-Porter is a 2-4 players boardgame, with a unique mix of deep economy strategy and direct interaction. VINTAGE (Lange ronde)
Vintage (MESABoardgames, Portugal) is about the production of Port wine in the Douro River Valley, the oldest demarcated wine region in the world. Among the various Port wine categories, a Vintage Port
represents the best possible quality, a product of excellence. The player with the most Vintage points (abbreviated VP) at the end of the game is the winner.
To obtain VP, players have to sell Port wine. But first they have to acquire estates, plant vineyards, harvest the grapes, transport the wine to the cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, age it and only then sell it.
All these actions are represented on the game board. The player who can keep a constant flow of production, transportation, ageing and sale, with increasing wine quality and quantity, will win the game.
